About the Item
Aluminium and nickel sculpture, 200 cm × 50 cm × 75 cm. Unique work.
In this sculpture, the artist works on an important subject in his production, to which he attributes an important symbolic value: trees. Ondřej Oliva reinterprets the shape of trees through geometrical stylizing: the tree trunk is limited by straight and precise shapes inside of which unfolds a dense tangle of aluminium branches that is finally freed at the treetop.
